Whole coriander Seeds (Dhania) are powdered and then used as spice in the food stuffs. Ground coriander seeds are widely used in Thai cuisines as it provided distinctive taste and aroma. The aroma it gives off is strong but sweet like a mixture of cinnamon, rose, orange and clove. Besides its use in food it is also used as medicine to cure anxiety and insomnia.
